Director Obeli N Krishna shares photo of Simbu shooting for a song from the sets of 'Pathu Thala'

Simbu, after his success of ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ is now gearing up for his next film ‘Pathu Thala’. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, the movie stars Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalaiarasan in the lead roles. Just a couple of days back, Simbu shared a video on his social media and stated that he has completed shooting for his parts in ‘Pathu Thala’. The movie makers also reportedly announced that the shooting for the film has been wrapped up. ‘Pathu Thala’ is the official Tamil remake of the film ‘Mufti’.

Now, the director of the film, Obeli N Krishna shared a glimpse of Simbu prepping for a song sequence. Sharing a photo from the final shooting sequence of the film, Obeli N Krishna said, “Our Energetic #AGR burning the floor with his inspirational dance. Filming now for #pathuthala @silambarasanTR @StudioGreen2 @kegvraja @arrahman @NehaGnanavel @Gautham_Karthik @iamSandy_Off @PenMovies.”

This image of Simbu from the ‘Pathu Thala’ shooting spot is going viral and fans are getting hyped as they are waiting to watch Simbu groove to the songs from the film. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman and the film is scheduled for its release on December 14.

On the work front, after ‘Pathu Thala’, Simbu is said to start shooting for his next film titled ‘Corona Kumar’ which is produced by the makers of ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’. It was earlier rumoured that the film will be shelved but later the producer during the trailer launch of Gautham Menon’s film announced that the movie will be shot as planned with Simbu.
