The premises of the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru will soon be adorned with the statue of Kempegowda, the founder of Bengaluru. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the statue on November 11. The statue is built fully from bronze and is 108-ft high. Karnataka’s Higher Education and Information Technology and Biotechnology Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan informed the media that the PM will also inaugurate Terminal 2 of the airport on November 11.
