HYDERABAD: Popular hill shrine in Telangana, Yadadri, on Sunday received 1.09 crore in collections, the highest in a single day so far.
The temple authorities said there has been a two-fold increase in devotee footfalls after the temple renovation.
“The 1.09 crore was received in the form of daily rituals, VIP break darshan, laddu prasadam sale, vrathams, anna dana (meals) scheme and other temple services,” Yadagirigutta temple executive officer, N Geeta said.
Meanwhile, the hill shrine was packed with thousands of devotees from the wee hours of Sunday.
More than 40,000 devotees took darshan of lord Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy. They also took part in the ‘arjitha sevas’.
